After a lot of effort and super glue, the disaster from my last adventure had been mended. I decided to head out once again to seek... anything.

After a few hours I came across a huge discovery! As I have been following Atriarch for a while now I've heard of the legendary physics engine. One of the best displays I have seen as of yet of the engine is below. What we have here below is called 'liquid particle physics', something no game has ever attempted before. And a marvelous site indeed, although you can't see the water in motion in the screenshot, as it is a still, I can assure you this raging rapid is screaming down the river. This was also my first encounter with another with another player! He seems to be entranced by the flowing river, I went down to say hello.

As I neared the streamside he came closer to his side as well. We both waved at each other from across the rapid. He seemed awful close to the edge of the river, I tried to motion him to stay back. Then something happened that made my heart jump out of my chest... he jumped in.

I looked around for something to grab onto, there was nothing but sand for millions of miles around, literally. I yelled to him, telling him to stay above the water. My heart was beating faster, the current was too strong, I knew he wouldn't survive for long. I closed my eyes for a second, then leaped in myself to try and save my first companion.

The wild rapid swirled around me, I had no control and the current took me where it wanted. I lost sight of the surface and everything went black.

I found myself later at the edge of the river once again. The one who jumped in must have been able to save us both. I looked around but could see nobody, I was once again alone, but had dodged death for the first time.
